Our Story

The MyWorld Group since 2013 has been involved in the promotion and operations of a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management Program (“CRM”) designed for merchants and business owners to reward their customers and, in the process, help to promote customer loyalty and retain their customers.

The team has more than 30 years combined years of experience, the Group now is ready to expand its business scope.

With our strong partnership with over 100 corporate clients in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan and Japan, more than 20,000 members are now enjoying benefits from 2,000 merchants from across the region.

MyWorld Group is responsible for the introduction and management of innovative marketing initiatives for merchants and business owners. These are done through privilege cards and reward programs that are designed to promote brand awareness and brand loyalty.

Awards

MRewards International was awarded the prestigious ASEAN Master Class Awards – 1MALAYSIA Socially Responsible Company by ASEAN Retail – Chains & Franchise Federation (ARFF) at Sunway Convention Center.

The award was presented by YB Datuk Donald Lim who represented YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Muhyiddin Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. The Company was among 15 companies and personalities nominated for the awards. Other prominent personalities included the CEO of Air Asia Bhd, Dato’ Sri Tony Fernandes and President of Lim Kok Wing University, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Lim Kok Wing.

“As a new Malaysian company, we are deeply honored to be presented with this award. We are proud of this recognition and will do much better in future.” said Dr. Tan, Group Managing Director expressed joy about the recognition by the organizer.

Customer Relationship Management

The CRM program operated by MYWORLD Group since 2013 is modeled along a similar program introduced in 1993 by its Smart -Partners, Card Connection International in Singapore.

The CRM program revolves around 5 independent but closely integrate elements to promote customers’ loyalty and in the process, promote sales for the participating merchants.

These 5 independent but closely integrated elements are: • Information Communication Technology (ICT) • CRM-­Loyalty Program • Networking Business • Event Management • Media

The loyalty card program, the customer rewards program and event management will be the main drivers behind the business of MYWORLD Group whilst the publication and information technology provide the backbone support for the main driver.

Information Communication Technology (ICT)

To ensure the success of the above programs, SDCC Group leverages on strong ICT support.

ICT is important to convert customer data into useful information and track consumers’ spending.

ICT is also important to connect the merchants with customers through web-­based applications.

CRM-­loyalty program is useful in helping merchants build and retain customers. Loyalty customers are issued loyalty cards that entitle them to collect loyalty points that are redeemable for rewards in the future. Depending on the needs of an organisation, CRM-­loyalty programs may be customized to meet the specific program needs of the merchant. The success of the CRM loyalty program is dependent on a comprehensive computer tracking system to track customers’ spending and a widely distributed publication to inform loyal customers about the latest offers and promotions in the market place.

MYWORLD Group is also actively involved in various promotional events to promote Malaysia as an attractive shopping destination in collaboration with various government agency and corporation. These include programs organised in conjunction with the Malaysia Mega Sales Carnival that MYWORLD Group successfully organised and promoted.
